Javyn Knight was born Jihad Abdul Jami II on August 6, 1998, in Florence, South Carolina.

He is a skilled lyricist and Hip-Hop recording artist, who often blends multiple genres (jazz, trap, spoken word, blues, and even conscious rap) to create a style he's dubbed as "Trap Blues"

His passion for the arts and wordplay started early in life. Knight began drawing in graffiti script, had a poetry book published by his elementary school in 4th grade, and won a state-wide Black Youth Legislative Writing competition at 14 years old.

Inspired by artists like 50 Cent, Z-Ro, Eminem, Lil' Wayne, and Hopsin, while being raised strictly on old school Gospel and R&B... it was only a matter of time before he'd start to find his own musical lane amidst all these great influences.
